NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Despite inclement weather, for the last three days the stands at the Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatics Center have been filled to capacity with parents, sponsors and swim fans watching The Bahamas National Swimming Championships. But one may wonder if we’re at capacity now, what will happen when we host the CARIFTA Swimming Championships next year? Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of Works, Bacchus Rolle says there are ongoing meetings on the renovation of the aquatics center.

The parliamentary secretary, who is an avid sportsman himself, added that the government will do all it can to continue encouraging Bahamian youth through sports.
