Rain Continues To Wreak Havoc On Exuma
EXUMA, BAHAMAS – The Exumas continue to be impacted by weather as rain and gusts of wind impacted the island.
EXUMA, BAHAMAS – The Exumas continue to be impacted by weather as rain and gusts of wind impacted the island.
While conditions cleared after some time, Island Administrator Donald Rolle says the rain affected communities still suffering from flooding two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago about 23 inches of rainfall was dumped on the island causing widespread flooding in some of the settlements.
Rolle says teams are still on the ground and are available should residents need them.
He’s also expressing concern as hurricane season approaches.
