NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It is the second housing initiative developed under the Davis Administration. The Renaissance at Carmichael Village will be a home and community for many first-time homeowners.

Prime Minister Philip Davis in congratulating the new homeowners emphasized his administration is prioritizing initiatives that help achieve security and build wealth.

Among the proud group of new homeowners is 38-year-old Lashanda Mader. She’s the mother of a 6-year-old special needs son whose home was specifically outfitted to suit his accessibility needs.

The six families will be able to move into their new homes in September.
