NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Sex crimes continue to plague our country and with a rise in crimes against women, specifically underage girls, police are pushing for public awareness.

Inspector Donna Barr says unfortunately at times, parents have dropped the ball when it comes to ensuring their children are safe.

Barr also reminded that social media has a dark side.

If you’re being sexually abused or know of someone that is, Inspector Barr is encouraging you to report it.
