Veteran Broadcaster Passes Away

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The veteran broadcaster died at the age of 55 following a brief illness, something many did not see coming.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Veteran journalist, Nathalee Martinborough was born in Long Island.

After graduating high school she moved to New Providence to attend the College of The Bahamas in the 1980’s where she obtained her degree in journalism.

Shortly after she moved to Grand Bahama and was the voice many heard for decades at ZNS Northern Service.

Moving up through the ranks from a reporter, Martinborough became a producer and eventually the news director for ZNS Northern Service. Her last post: assistant general manager for news and radio. She was often the brain behind each newscast.

She has been recognized for her skills and talents by many national and international organizations.

Martinborough would’ve also mentored and trained many young journalists including some of us here at Our News.
