ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS – Much-needed infrastructural upgrades are on the way for the North Eleuthera Airport.

Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper announcing the government has approved funding for the project not only in Eleuthera but for other family islands.

Cooper also sharing that plans have already been drawn up. With several international airlines like American Airlines and Delta visiting the island frequently, Cooper says these upgrades are vital.

The Deputy Prime Minister also sharing that upgrades to the Governors Harbor Airport which include roof, terminal, and parking lot upgrades are 80% completed.
