NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On their final day, the royals spent part of their day in Grand Bahama visiting the Grand Bahama Children’s Home. The home was forced to relocate the children in 2019 because of the extensive damage by Hurricane Dorian.

There are 32 children at the home – all under 14. Chair of the home’s fundraising committee, Sarah Kirkby says the visit was a special treat for these children.

As they continue to add the finishing touches to the home and take care of the children daily, Kirby hopes the visit sparks renewed support for the home.

Of the 32 students, 26 are enrolled in school and for those interested in assisting or volunteering.
