Hundreds Turn Out For UB Third Annual Meet

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Runners from several clubs, high schools and middle schools turned out to compete in the 3K course in and around the Queen Elizabeth Sports Complex.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Runners from several clubs, high schools and middle schools turned out to compete in the 3K course in and around the Queen Elizabeth Sports Complex.

The host team UB Mingoes swept the open division with Michal Bullard winning the women’s division and Lhevinne Joseph taking the men’s, in the final cross-country race of their season.

He said this season has him ready for the track.

Major League Baseball

Jazz Chisholm is showing why he may have been the MLB’s top midseason acquisition of the season. He went 2-4 with a double, a home run and 2 RBI as his Yankees lost 9-4 to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The loss did not matter at all in their playoff standings because the team clinched homefield advantage throughout the playoffs because the Cleveland Guardians lost.

Elsewhere in New York, Antoan Richardson and the Met’s season is coming down to the wire.

The Mets lost 6-0 to the Milwaukee Brewers, getting only 2 hits all game.

They’re in a dead heat with the Arizona Diamondbacks, they have to win two of the next three games they’re in.
