Loretta Butler-Turner Considering Invitation to Rejoin the FNM

Former FNM deputy leader Loretta Butler-Turner is considering rejoining the party, without returning to frontline politics.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Following an open invitation for former members of the Free National Movement to return to the fold, former deputy leader Loretta Butler-Turner says its being taken into consideration.

However, she maintains she has no intention of returning to frontline politics.

So what does the former FNM Deputy Leader think about the call from new party leader Michael Pintard?

In 2016, Butler-Turner and six other FNM MP’s ousted Dr. Hubert Minnis as leader of the Official Opposition as they felt he was unfit to lead.

Butler-Turner has said she is no longer apart of the FNM.

With a new leader elected, she’s hoping the FNM will be an effective opposition.

Last week, the Davis administration that Butler-Turner will be appointed consultant to the SBDC – a move that surprised some political supporters.
