NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Despite the inclement weather on Grand Bahama Thursday, the Ministry of Tourism’s Goombay Summer Festival went off with a bang last night. The final event for the summer on Taino Beach attracting lots of visitors and tourists alike.

That’s the response from residents on the 2023 Goombay Summer Festival in Grand Bahama. The four-week event attracted hundreds of people to Taino Beach. This year there was lots of entertainment as well as unique dishes from vendors.

Bahamian music artist KB headlining the event on Thursday night. The crowd was also treated to the sights and sounds of Junkanoo.
