NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ferguson who is a Doris Johnson High School student, was waiting at the bus stop when he heard the sound of screeching tires and saw the crash unfold.

He decided to jump into action.

Our very own digital reporter, Timothy Bain, was one of the first people at the scene and got a first-hand view of Ferguson springing into action. It was a moment he was able to capture on camera.

Ferguson’s courageous act left him with minor cuts to his hands, but it also left an impression on his principal, who praised him for his bravery.

Michael, who dreams of becoming a plumber and starting his own business, remains humble about his heroic act.
