Source: Border Agency Leader Being Forced Out

USA – United States President Biden accepting the resignation of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Christopher Magnus.

It comes days after U.S. media said Magnus was asked to resign or fired in tensions within Biden’s administration over a record number of migrant crossings at the U.S. Mexico border.

Magnus was told to resign or be fired less than a year after he was confirmed as the Biden administration’s choice to lead the agency.

His removal is a part of a larger shake-up expected at Homeland Security as it struggles to manage migrants coming from various countries.
