NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three Bahamian men – 43-year-old Jonathan Cartwright, 31-year-old Clatrico McKenzie and 40-year-old Terrance Gibson – are facing charges following the seizure of 222 pounds of cocaine and a firearm at Farmer’s Cay, Exuma last week.

All three men denied charges of drug possession with intent to supply, conspiracy to possess drugs with intent to supply, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition at their arraignment before Senior Magistrate Raquel Whymms.

They were each granted $100,000 bail on the condition that they report to police three times a week and wear ankle bracelets. Their trial is set for January 19.

Now the charges stem from an August 22nd search of an intrepid vessel that was docked at Farmer’s Cay.

As a result, officers seized 84 packages of cocaine, with a wholesale street value of $1,680,000, a .40 pistol and 12 rounds of ammunition.
