“Jillian Stood Up For Us in Life, We’re Gonna Stand Up for Her in Death”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The raw emotion from family members of Jillian Pinder poured outside of the Magistrates Court on Tuesday, as 62-year-old insurance executive George Pinder is charged with his wife’s murder along with 44-year-old Lenardo Farrington.

Dozens of family members lined up outside the court house from as early as 9:30AM, with some wearing pins of Jillian on their shirt.

Some of her fellow teachers also present, including Bahamas Union of Teachers President Belinda Wilson, who said she came to offer her support.

However, perhaps none was closer to Jillian than her brother, Jason Rahming, who’s just a year younger than his sister.

“[Jillian] is The most beautiful person you ever met, you know undeserving, but hopefully swift justice hopefully.”

Pinder died on July 13th, more than a month after she was attacked on June 4th. 

She was admitted to the intensive care unit, later discharged, and then readmitted before she died.

Her cousin, Kaliah Sutherland says she was one of the last persons she spoke to..
