Jonquel Jones and the New York Liberty are on to the hunt for a championship.

JJ had 19 and nine on Sunday as the team fell to the Washington Mystics behind a buzzer-beater by Brittney Sykes to lose their last game.

With the loss, the liberty finished the season with a 32-8 record, good for first place in the east.

The Liberty have dominated the competition all season thanks to the inside presence of Jones along with the shooting of Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, who broke the record for three-pointers made in a season on Thursday night.
