President of the Senate Official GB Visit

The Senate President made her first official visit to Grand Bahama on Friday. While on the island she spoke to a number of key issues, including social outreach and gender-based violence.

 



The senate president also expressing her passion for addressing and eliminating gender based violence. While commenting on the recent murder of a 21-year-old mother in New Providence, she says the upper chamber and House of Assembly continue to push for legislation.

Minister for Grand Bahama, Ginger Moxey, hosting a courtesy call for President of the Senate, Lashell Adderely. Moxey says she is looking forward to the partnership and is expecting great results.

The senate president expressing her desire to establish outreach programs on Grand Bahama and other family islands.

She adds that while working with senators Kirkland Russell and James Turner-Rolle, she felt compelled to visit the island.
